AEP Rockport

Project consisted of the construction of two Leachate Collection ponds for AEP Indiana/Michigan Power Company.  The North Pond (416 lf x 118 lf) and West Pond (255 lf x 204 lf) combined for a total of 101,108 SF of 12” reinforced concrete pavement over an impermeable polyethylene membrane liner.  Over 4000 CY of concrete was poured over 500,000 pounds of double mattes of #6 & #7 rebar in the bottoms and 47,000 sf of welded wire fabric on the side slopes.  The forms could not be secured with convention methods of nail pins since the liner could not be penetrated.  River Town derived a system of cable clamps, bracing and sands bags to secure the forms.
